Evonne Smith, IBCLC, is a board-certified lactation consultant, newborn care specialist, and healing arts practitioner. In 2014 she founded New North—a holistic maternal & newborn wellness practice based in Pasadena, California—which combines evidence-informed practice with time-honored wisdom and a little touch of magic. New North's mission is to empower new parents by helping them find and follow their own north star.

Dedicated to nurturing deep, loving connections between parents and their babies, Evonne believes that such bonds are crucial for babies who grow up to be happy, healthy, and loving adults.
