Dr. Petra McEwan is a board-certified Pediatrician, Breastfeeding Medicine Specialist, and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant with 12 years of experience in supporting families and promoting infant health. She has dedicated her career to helping parents navigate the challenges and joys of breastfeeding, particularly during the critical first 6 months of their babies’ lives. As the owner of Mommy & Me Consulting, she provides in-home and virtual Breastfeeding Medicine and Lactation Consultations to families throughout South Florida. Dr. McEwan is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the International Lactation Consultant Association. Despite her professional training, Dr. McEwan credits much of her breastfeeding knowledge to her journey as a mom of 5 breastfed babies - with over 50 months of personal breastfeeding experience. She currently lives in South Florida with her husband and 5 children.
